I know you need a different Ethernet Cable (Cord) than a regular Ethernet Cord to wire two computers that have LAN capability together. I'm talking there is no Router/Switch here. Just two computers. My question is, what is that cable called and where do I find it?

EDIT: I did some research and if I'm not wrong, I need a crossover cable?

It's called a "crossover" cable.  Many cable mfr's offer them for sale.  [long ago red cables were crossover....now there's no telling.]

You can use a simple 'switch' device between 2 pc's then you don't need special cables:

Most modern gear is auto-crossover, so there's little need for special cables.  Try a standard cat 5e cable if you have one around, or check the specs on your network adapters for auto MDI/MDI-X.  Only one of them needs to support it.  Odds are that you don't need a crossover cable.
