Will this HDD work in my Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2..

    Laptop?

    HITACHI 0A57546 250GB 7200 RPM 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive - OEM

    It's replacing the factory HDD:

If your motherboard has SATA and you can load the drivers then yes.

    Reasons to get Windows 7:
    Snap to maximize windows
    Formatting huge hard drives
    It's Vista but better

The ASUS M4A78-E sucks, don't get it.

I called Dell and asked them if my motherboard would support the SATA 3.0 drive and they said it would. I ordered the 320 for 10 bucks more. Why not right?

"Why not?" Well, hopefully you have a compatible OS to handle that hard drive...

First thing you'll notice when you get the hard drive is, "Why is it in bubble wrap... and why are the bubbles popped?"

You'll want to run some error scans with HDTune and make sure it's stable :D
