How does this work?
We'll do 2 weeks of open nominations, followed by 2 weeks of "silent" voting.
All winners will be given an "EMA 2009 Winner" badge for their avatar.

In this section, we will recognize the works of the many Eggxpert users who have contributed to the site.

The Loonie Awards

In this section, we will recognize the many loonies (sorry, I meant to say users) who participate on this site in one way or another. Many of these awards are named after famous Canadians, so if you don't know some of these people, do your research! One more thing, most of the people whose names are attached to these categories are meant to be a compliment, not an insult, so don't take it too seriously. Well, except for a couple categories...

The Rules

Nominations will take place between April 17th and May 1st. The top 3-5 nominees in each category (depending on the number of nominations received) will be listed on the final voting ballot.

Voting will take place from May 4th to May 15th. Please note that you must have achieved "EggXpert" status or higher for your vote to count toward the overall awards tally (votes from new accounts, or accounts that are still at "Embryo" status, will not be counted). Voting will be "silent" -- votes will be sent via PM to an administrator account.

Many thanks to 20Rules for kick-starting this event, and we hope everyone has a great time honoring their fellow EggXperts for the contributions they've made to the site!
