    Plant tycoon---CPU runs at 100%?

Plant tycoon, a PC game I always play in my spare time. It’s a good game for killing time….and sometimes when I watching movies, I may play it as well.

However, recently, I found that when I run this game, my computer becomes quite slow. When I checked in my task manager, I found my CUP runs at about 98%. I almost can’t do anything while play this game. I don’t think such a game would take so much system resources. Anyone can tell me what the problem is? And how can I fix it?

Thanks for your suggestions in advance.

This is the game I mentioned:

Well, in the Task Manager check the Processes tab and see if it's the game that's maxing out the processor.

What is your processor anyway? If you have a Pentium 4 (Single Core processor), you might be able to Enable HyperThreading which helps out when you've got something that's tasking the processor and you still want to do something else in the meantime.

Yeah, maybe some treads in your system make a high CPU usage.

BTW, some of the games are CPU depended, it happens when play with those games with high CPU usage.

Try compare before and after running game then will figure out.

Well, let's see, if your computer is too slow, don't expect to be able to multitask
