    Antec Performance One p180

First I wanted to ask peoples opinions on this case, its cooling efficiency, ease of use, etc.  However, one thing I did notice was that on the antec website, the page for this case has rubber grommets for cooling tubes, while the pictures on newegg do not.  I just wanted confirmation that newegg is shipping the "newer model with the grommets.

You should get the P182 if you are looking to get the rubber grommets.

Also, I noticed today that the antec website's version of the p180 has a removable motherboard tray, like the 182, but not on newegg.

Where are you seeing that either model has a removable motherboard tray?  They have space for cables behind where the motherboard sits, but the tray is not removable.  You take off the side panel behind the mobo to access the space.

I'd highly recommend the P182, I have it and love it.  One thing i would suggest is a modular PSU, as the space between the PSU and bottom fan is tight, and the space behind the motherboard tray for cables is rather limited, especially to fit all the extra Molex and SATA power connectors in.  The rest of the case is quite roomy, and the removable HDD bays are very nice.  I took out the top bay and only have my HDDs in the bottom bay, which allows more clearance for my video cards and increased airflow.  You can also rig up another fan in this area if you so choose (using zip ties and such).  The case is very quiet, very sturdy, and very heavy.  You will need to get more fans though.  The 3 fans that come with the case aren't sufficient for any serious components.  I would recommend the Scythe Slip Streams and a fan controller.

i have the p182 too.  it's pretty quiet, though not totally silent depending on what components u have in there.  i didnt have a modular psu, so i just stuffed all the excess cables in the bottom hdd cage and on the side if possible.  i highly recommend this case.

Yeah, i like the look of the 182 as well, but I really LOVE the white/silver of the 180, and there isnt a white version of the 182.  Heres the link I am seeing these odd specs on.  Antec Website

    The one on Newegg

The only reason I am hesitating to order straight from antec is that newegg is much cheaper.  Oh and you are right, I just noticed that it only says theres a cable organizer area behind the MoBO tray, but I did see alot of complaints abut cable mgmt.

    Re: Antec Performance One p180

I have the P182 and love it. The only thing I would say is make sure you don't get an oversized CPU. I have the case packed full of hard drives and put a fairly large modular PSU in it to make sure I would have enough power, and unfortunately the PSU was longer than standard which required me to remove the bottom fan. Even with this fan gone and 7 hard drives running it doesn't get too hot though. Great case.
