I had a harddrive die from too much heat so needed a new drive and wanted to go ahead and get a SATA instead of a ATA. Got the Rosewill RC-212. Got all installed took a few tries to get the card to see the harddrive finnal did and started the install. It does all fine support they just keep saying the same things I already tried. Would apreciated any tips.
Things I tried.
Checked boot order in BIOS Tried 1 Floppy 2 CD-Rom 3 SCS---1 CD-Rom 2 SCSI and Rosewill's idea 1 SCSI 2 CD-Rom
Differnt SATA cables
Did the jumper on the Wester Digital drive to bring it to 150
Removing all over PCI cards
Checked jumpers on the RC-212 card to be sure they were right.
Think that's all the things I tried. If anyone has used this card does it add and extra lines or anything when the computer starts? when starting there is nothing extra.
Hope someone can help. Rosewill justs says to try things I've already tried.
