What power supply should i get?

After reading the suggested list.... I am considering...

    PC Power & Cooling S75QB 750W

    PC Power & Cooling PPCS750QBL

    PC Power & Cooling S61EPS 610W

well basically i am under the impression that PCP&C is a safe bet. but how much wattage do i really need? and which models do you think are suited for me??

the 610 should do you just fine unless you plan on using a bunch of hardrives or overclocking a bunch but with this deal on the corsair is hard to pass up to make sure you have headroom and is still very decent quality right up there with pcpc

I would get the 750. The 610 may be enough but the 750 will leave you plenty of head room for the future and isn't too much more expensive. As far as between the 2 750s they are the same psu just in different colors, pick what every you like. Personally I like the profesional look of my flat black PC Power & Cooling S75QB 750W (there is also a read one)

I think you first choice is your best bet, 750 should be enough to run your system.. And leave some room for fands, leds, and all the other crazy stuff..

    Phenom 9850 x4, Asus MVP Deluxe , 8gigs OCZ ddr2 1066, Visiontek 3870x2, Xfi Elite,2x WD Raptors 10k in raid 0,Antec 1000watt, and Cooler-master Stacker 830 Evolution.

Cinc is telling you straight on the PSU's but if you don't mind a suggestion on your build this 4870 has a Lifetime Warranty.

Re: What power supply should i get?

From all the reviews I have read about the corsiar 750 when I was considering purchasing it it is a good PSU but is not on par with the pcp&c

which is why it is listed as tier 2 instead of tier 1 http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/1/323050/ShowThread.aspx

Re: What power supply should i get?

I think it will be safer to choose 750w, because even if your hardware is not under

operation at full load, it still has large power consumption.

The nominal power on the power supply is usually its peak value (also known as maximum

power output) instead of average power output. Therefore, a high-power psu will be safer

both for normal usage and over clock.
