Now that my build is up and running stable (no RMAs needed, lucky me), I figure I should get a monitor to take full advantage of it. 24" seems a bit excessive for me, so I've settled on 22" widescreen LCD which is more than most people will be lucky enough to use anyway. Ideally a response time under 5ms , but as for 5 vs. 2 or 3 I don't really experience a difference once its at 5 or lower. So, if anyone has had experience with any decent ones I'd like to hear about it (or any bad experiences to stay away from). Lately I don't trust the newegg site reviews since half the posts seem to be axe-grinding or not even about the correct item. Speakers don't make a diff either way as I have my own, so if they sound like c**p I don't care as long as having speakers doesn't drive the cost up or make the monitor overly bulky/heavy. The primary purpose would be for gaming, but I also do video editing, photoshop, and a lot of movie watching.
