setting of Recycle Bin in Vista

Vista has been with us for a long time, then, how do you feel about it? As familiar as Xp? At least, the answer for me should be no; some functions are still need time to find out and sometimes I need search on Google for more information. This thread is about tips of configuring Recycle Bin in Vista.

    1.       How to hide and delete the Recycle Bin icon in vista?
Some guys like using blank desktop, then you can set like this: simply right clicking on the desktop, choose “View”, and then uncheck the option of “show icons on the desktop”. Now your desktop would be blank.

If you just want to hide the Recycle Bin icon, you can follow these steps:

Right click on the desktop, select “Personalize”

Click the “Change Desktop Icons” option on the top left corner.

Then you will see the window of “Desktop Icons Settings”, uncheck the Recycle Bin option, and then you can see only this icon disappeared from your desktop.

    2.       About rename the Recycle Bin

In Windows XP, you cannot rename the icon by right clicking the Recycle Bin. The only way to rename it is to do modification in regidit. However, this can be realized in Vista. Simply right click the icon and choose rename, you can give a special to the Recycle Bin in your system.

Well, if you are a newbie in Vista, and if you are interested in this, just have a try!
