Need To Run Dual Monitors For Poker Applications

I am currently looking to run two monitors for poker. I was just wondering what the most inexpensive way to go about this would be. My current setup is a Gateway Desktop computer with a graphics card only capable of running 1 monitor. Would buying a VGA splitter do me any good or would I need to buy a new graphics card? I would need to be able to have 1 table on one screen and a second  table on the other.

     -Thanks

The OP can also give us the model number of the Gateway and we can look up the info for the motherboard that wasy as well which would also tell us the slot type, whether it is AGP or PCI-E.
