I recently installed a Rosewill RC-201 SATA RAID controller in a fairly old machine. I have it running a pair of 500GB Seagate's in RAID 1 used as a D: drive for data (photos, music, etc..)
This seems to be running well, so now I want to re-stage the machine with a fresh install of XP.
The fresh install will be done on a separate drive (not the RAID pair). As I understand it, when I have the new XP install finished, I can just reinstall the drivers for the RAID card and it will recognize the existing RAID array and all of my data will be there. Is this correct?
