Every day we get closer to what Scarlet will be and I've got to tell you, this is going to be an amazing camera that will set new standards and change many of the rules. Requests have been made that are all very reasonable, but Scarlet will exceed many of the suggestions in its design, offering interface and functionality that will blow your minds. But I'd rather Red make the flip-out LCD detachable allowing us to mount it where we need it - even for extended monitoring

RED delivers new rendering of Scarlet 3K camera
From the word go, amateurs and professionals alike were hot for RED's (relatively) minuscule Scarlet. After all, can you really go wrong with a 3K camera in one hand and a Dairy Queen dipped cone in the other? (No, no you cannot.) Nevertheless, those anxious to see more as the run-up to its early 2009 release continues can feast their eyes on an all new rendering.
