Howdy all...
Guess I should say something bout myself... I got started in computers back in 01. I was in the Navy and a couple of the tech guys on board, dropped me some hints about computers. So my roommate and I started playing with hers, and voila. 8yrs later I have built 2 systems myself, my first wholly owned computer was a Dell Dem 8300, and it was pretty powerful as far as I was concerned. By our standards today, it aint jack.. LOL
So, I got into gaming. And I realized, bigger is always better. So I built my first system. I did it cheaply, and it was a MAJOR learning experience for me. Now I have my second system, and aside from my mobo bein no to good, its a great computer. Oh, both comps I currently have are dual core (one a PD and the other is a C2D). Both systems are DX10 capable with a 8600GT in the Pent D, and an 8800GTS in the C2D comp. Both have 2GB ram... Its a nice even number.. And only one is used for gaming anymore, the other is office software related stuff...
So, I have a pretty good head on my shoulders about this kind of stuff. I am not hasty at all to make decisions when buying new parts. So, any questions, drop me a line and we shall see.
