Folders stopped making clicking sound

A question from my brother, but I haven't messed around with such an issue ever, so I don't know what could have caused this Confused

A few days ago, His folders stopped making noises. When he opened "My Documents", it should make that clicking MS folder-opening sound. But it doesn't have.

Btw, the same noise also stopped in IE7 when he try to open a bookmark.

Any ideas on how to fix it? Ur inputs are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. XD

I dont think it is a big deal but try going to -> Control Panel -> Sounds and audio properties -> Sound tab -> sound schemes -> Then pull down to windows default good luck Big Smile
