but if you follow this guide,  you will never be prompted for the nagging UAC dialog box. that is nice.

Sounds like a good tip. I use UAC and don't mind it most of the time. I kind of like the fact that nothing can touch my system without me knowing about it. The problem with Windows XP is that anything can access the core system. That’s where all the spyware and malware come from. I do think they can improve UAC. Hopefully this will happen in Windows 7.

Only bad thing is that Windows 7 is probably going to be on a yearly subscription, and that would bite hard.

Also, there are several things I'd like to do, and several programs I'd like to use that can only be installed in admin account or with it active and its password.
