 I ordered a pair of OCZ reapers as seen here

They have a $35 mail in rebate on them, but it expires tomorrow! I ordered them on Friday and they haven't even shipped yet. How am I supposed to file a rebate without the product in my hand!  D:

If ur oder can be shipped out tomorrow, or u can get the sales invoice receipt on 6/30, then u can also get the MIR. Good luck. XD

You will be okay.  The purchase date must be between 6/23/08 and 6/30/08.  You should already have the NewEgg receipt (at least the original order confirmation that says that your card was charged).  Usually you get the official NewEgg receipt/invoice emailed out a couple days later but on it, it shows the date of purchase up at the top and for you it will say Order Date: 6/27/08.  But either way with OCZ make sure you send in the form and whatever they want with it right away as that rebate does say that rebates must be postmarked twelve days from the purchase date.  So from 6/27 you would want to get it out by 7/09.  So make sure to test out the memory right away after you get them so you have time to rma if they are bad.  Imo OCZ has one of the worst rebate policies for the tight timeline on the from purchase date to when it has to be sent out.  Most others I have dealt with do a 30 days from purchase which gives you a bit more time to actually make sure it is a good item.  I lost out on a $35 rebate for one of their psu's last fall as I was not able to try it out until the weekend after the rebate expired and I figured it was better to be able to return it than get $35 if it was bad.

I agree with Sjr. some manufacturer will honor the purchase date too. U do not need to have the item on hand physically to confirm your purchase.

And just to add on the fine advise my peers have given you, OCZ is one of the better companies for letting these little things go. The know if a person gets jipped out of their rebate, most likely they'll never buy OCZ again. They don't want that. Look at some of the NE reviews for OCZ products, where people are griping about their rebates, you'll see OCZ always responds for them to contact support and they'll help sort it out.

I don't think there's another company that quite come's close to ensuring rebate honorment to be honest.

So even if you dont make the 7/9 deadline, you should still be assured you can contact support and let them know. And if you did get rejected, which I'd be surprised, call the Egg, and explain their shipping delay cost you.
