    HTPC and XBOX 360

I am trying to get an answer on this question please..

When you build a HTPC and install a TV tuner, seems like most tuners are analog and NOT digital so how does the XBOX 360 get around this I mean they are able to view HD channels from my HD cable box? Any answers.

I mean what kind of TV tuners are they running that allows them to see HD channels?

    Re: HTPC and XBOX 360

Cable boxes are not required to output digital signals and likely never will be.  The Digital HD Law only affects broadcast television.

Many Cable boxes will convert from digital to analog before sending it to the TV and so many people with Cable won't need to get digital tuners at all..
