Writing this from a shiny new oS 11 installation on my not-quite-so new & shiny laptop.
Installation only took about 20 minutes, including partitioning, configuration, and actually installing the files. Not too bad for a full-blown install with KDE4, openoffice, and whatever else was installed. Haven't got around to customizing the install yet, except for installing vlc. Goes a good deal faster than in 10.3, so that's another plus.
All my hardware was detected and configured properly, with the possible exception of the Broadcom wireless card. Detected correctly, but I haven't tried to use it yet.
The desktop itself is alot more polished than in 10.3, or even 11.0 beta3. Hasn't crashed yet, so I guess that's a good sign as well.
I'll have to take a bit more time to really play around with the distro, maybe experiment with Compiz for the first time, probably install KDE4.1 beta, and get some music and wallpapers on here.
