Need to replace our current printer pool (an unholy mix of outdated INKJET printers... the toner supply is a nightmare, so is cost-per-page) with 2-3 good, high-speed, color lasers. Problem is, with all the choices out there, I don't know where to turn. Thanks, Newegg, for having "over 9,000" printer choices ;)
Here's what I'd like:
1 low-cost-per-page, high-speed, black/white printer with TWO paper trays (need to print on plain paper & full-sheet labels, sick of reloading paper media 5-10 times/day).
1 high-quality color laser - this can be single- or dual-tray model. Speed is not important, quality & cost-per-page are.
Important factors:
1.) Low cost-per-page and high cartridge capacity.
2.) Dual paper trays in the B/W printer - that's a must. High-capacity (300+ sheets) would be perfect.
3.) Budget under $800 for both machines.
4.) Reliability - these will get constant daily use, at least 20-200 pages/day = 600-6000 pages per month.
5.) Availability of third-party / refill / off-brand toner.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
