If folding for the cause isn't enough to motivate then consider that folding can be a very competitive community, with many people tweaking their pcs to crank out work units as fast as possible. Most enthusiast forums have a folding community and I see know reason why we eggxperts should be left out or worst required to fold for another team!
Folding@home is a great way to test your system for stability, even oced computers that pass prime torture tests fail under F@H
Folding@home will not slowdown you pc like many believe. It runs in the background 24/7 and only uses idle processing power.
