Spoiler tags...

Well, I've seen quite a bit here on these forums, but I haven't seen a key, basic implementation of spoiler tags here on the forums...

They would be helpful for a variety of reasons, many of which are obvious, hence the name "Spoilers"...They could also be used to mark rumors and otherwise, and it would be quite helpful in the Off-Topic discussions sections...

Another member has previously stated this, and I've read many things which would have been better off hidden behind a spoiler tag...

Here are two other forums I frequent that I've found spoiler threads very useful to have:

    http://www.j-isle.com/forums/index.php

    http://www.animeamaze.net/forums/index.php

Here is an example implementation of spoiler threads on other forums:

All text within the spaces of the spoiler tags would be "hidden", but could still be easily seen and edited...

This implementation wouldn't be a priority but would be very nice and useful to have...Big Smile

To build a PC or to not build a PC, that is a stupid question...An obvious one too...

What do you mean it would be "hidden" but it would still be seen and edited... Hmm

Basically its a text field that is dark and can only be seen when its highlighted.... one of the types of antispoilers I've seen

Leonard: [discussing Sheldon's work] At least I didn't have to invent 26 dimensions to get the math to work.
    Sheldon: I didn't invent them. They're there.
    Leonard: Yeah? In what universe?
Sheldon: In all of them, that's the point!

Yap, that's one example, the other is that you click on the spoiler button which is normally located above the text field, and it reveals it in a quote (I.E. within a box) like form...

The other way to do it is to have hidden and covered up by a text like "Warning! Spoilers Warning! Spoilers Warning! Spoilers Warning! Spoilers" ect and when you move your mouse over it, it reveals whats hidden underneath..

It'd be quite useful for many things...Big Smile
