    Multimedia to TV over network

    http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=484&name=Network-Media-Players

My company is looking for a simple and inexpensive way to play a multimedia presentation over our network to different displays ~42" plasma and LCD TVs.  I'm not convinced that we really need to go for a full out digital signage solution.  Currently we are looping through a PDF file, but we could convert it to any format.  The only concern I have is network bandwidth since the file is currently about 400MB and in the future, we will be pushing HD content to them.

    What do you think?

I would buy DVI to HDMI adapter (if your computer has a DVI port), connect it to a HDMI splitter, connect the HDMI splitter to a few TVs with 100' HDMI cables.

I'm thinking about doing this in offices a few hundred miles apart.
