    Top 10 Worst Sports Franchises

    For any sports fans here, came across this list on Foxsports http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/8098378/Top-10:-Worst-franchises-in-pro-sports?MSNHPHCP&GT1=39002 hopefully none of the teams on this list are your favorites....I can shamefully say that I root for the Clippers and they made the listFrustrated. Heres the list...

    10. Los Angeles Clippers    9. Vancouver/Memphis Grizzlies  8. Atlanta Hawks (Sort of surprised by this one given the fact that they made the playoffs this year)   7. Minnesota Twins  6. Boston Bruins (As long is its not the UCLA Bruins, who cares!)  5. Detriot Lions ( Much like the Clippers, no matter what they do, they just cant win)  4. Tampa Bay Rays (Still a young franchise, they seem to be headed in the right direction now)  3. Arizona Cardinals (I think they make a run this year and make the palyoffs!)  2. Kansas City Royals  1. Pittsburgh Pirates (I would have gave the #1 spot to the Royals)

    If it wasn't for the Lakers taking Lamar from the Clippers...they would be in a much better shape....they made it to the playoffs too last season....

    Put New York Knicks on the list too, only 2 championship in the entire NBA history and the past fews years their records are just awful.

    The list seems to be one of teams that lack a winning tradition.

    There are other ways to rank a franchise.  The Knicks are one of the worst run teams I have ever seen.  This team is pathetic from top to bottom.

    BTW They won two championships (1970 and 73) and 6 conference titles

    Thanks for the correction, I can't imagine with salary caps like this and yet so horrible performance.
