I like the recent discussion links that are on the right side, but I don't like the fact that those take you to the 1st post of the thread. Why not have those linked to the most recent post in those topics? That's what we're clicking on those links for anyway.

yep, before we post, we have read all of them, so there is no need to read them again. it is a good idea to link the latest reply. each time i go to the Movie game, i have to click"last"

it sucks.

maybe eggxpert will work this out later.

 

To take this idea one step further, go to the last read post that we've read (not the very last).

 

Just to add one more thing to that... we should have the option to remove discussions too.  I made a post a couple monthes ago in a forum that is still active and it constantly appears on the top of the list when something new is posted.  I dont care about this particular thread b/c its kinda pointless and i only posted in it b/c i was bored so it would be cool to be able to remove it from my discussions since it hasn't been "my discussion" in two monthes.

you can delete it by yourself in "my discussions"

click" my discussions"< ticket the one you wanna ignore< remove from my discussions

That forum has that same idea implemented. You may need to create an account and change your view options, but it will take you to the first unread post in that thread if you click the "xx unread posts" link for that topic.

Simply wanted to give an example of a forum that has that idea implemented.
