Just got an Antec 900. Git a question, on the front panel connecotrs, the manual shows connectors for HD LED, Pow LED, PWR SW, and Reset. Thing is, in the case, I dont have a power led, just the other 3.
Curious what others have got. I know I've had others like that, but not many. I got some PSUs/GPU issues I'm trying to clear up and I'm not leaving anything unturned..
Anyone else got the PWR LED-less Antec 900, or, creator forbid, did I get a defect?
thanx, penewahwah

Ditto here. I wonder if they planned to have one originally and then decided not to and then forgot to change the manual.

On the Antec website they say that this case comes without PWR Led, the two front LED case fans serve that purpose. You don't actually have to have anything connected to the motherboard PWR led terminals, for what that is worth. Now, my turn, is it true that this case doesn't have a case speaker for beep codes?

That is indeed correct. I was surprised when I was hooking up my mobo to the other cables on the case, only to find there was no speaker in/around the case. Luckily, everything was put together just fine.

Well, the "follow up", LOL, I had nothing attached to the PWR LEDs, as I stated, I was troubleshooting some lossed power to the GPU, via a short. As I suspect, and thanx to great help from HogH and FatB, I traced it to the mobo tray, or lack there of, i.e. removable tray. The CPU cooler was touchin, ever so slightly, whch was problematic with the flush tray, w/o any depressions. But a quick readjusting pulled the short out, thus a prime example of folks having PSU issues, where anything could sap the power, to rebuild slow within, or externally.
I have a bunch of speakers laying around, so wasn't an issue for me, but one would have been nice. I must say though, it is one darn nice case. My GPU and CPu temps have dropped 7c & 5-6c respectively on idle. Havent quite measured load yet. Got to think the fan arrangement is the reason why, nothing like the 220mm Big Boy, as they refer to it, as the prime player. The thing is just plain sturdy as well. The HD cages are awesome, and the fan controls admirable. I slammed a 120mm LED on the side panel, so I've retained my disco fever as well.
I told my 3 yr old to "come check this out," with the room's lights out, as opposed to the Apevia Cruisier, which was well lit in its own right, and her response was, "aaaiiinnynyyy" which is Peanut-speak for "Big deal Daddy - get a life." Critics aye?
Thanks to all 4 your comments, my faith the Eggxs is reaffirmed once again.
Peace, Pene

Wow, looks cool, but seems like a lot of $$$ to get it to green. Is that a Nvidia logo on top, isnt quite clear? But yeah, I think its pretty cool.
I was thinking about changing athe color of a fan or two down the road in mine. maybe if they burn out.
Nice find.

Ajvkorn:What would you replace them with then?Cause i really Like the green LED. That is what i wanted to do when I first saw the Antec 900. I love blue, but am tired of it for LED Lights in my PC.
Probably Green or White . I love the blue color but it kinda bores me..

I just got my 900 last night and Mine only had 3 wires Power, Reset, and HDD Light. Not even a speaker wire, which is fine by me... and considering the fans light blue, maybe that is thier reason for no power wire. I guess if someone were to go and replace all the fans with something a but more powerful, or just prefered they did not light up that might creat an issue for that user, but then all you have to do is plug the HDD LED into the Power LED and it will work just fine for that job. It's labelled HDD, but it's just a light with 2 wires use it on almost any LED connector, that only uses 2 wires, you please.
