Hi guys, I got the urge to write up a blog post today and discovered my blog is missing and I can't create a new one. My browser loads eggxpert.com as a home page but I haven't been in my blog for awhile. If I can't get it back can I at least get the ability to make a new one? Thanks in advance!

Thanks! That is correct, but what's strange is that if I go to the Blogs Tab I get nothing in Dashboard and this error in My Blogs "No blogs are currently defined to administer. Please use the administration section to create groups and blogs." However I can get the correct Dashboard and My Blogs from that link you sent me. I used to access my blog by just going to http://www.eggxpert.com/blogs/HEX as in my sig, maybe the caps confused things during a site upgrade? Anyways, thanks again!

I've had this same error. It looks like you have to hit the "write blog" from your home blog page.

 

So, still having the issue. Can't see it. The only way I can write a blog now is to go to an existing blog and click on the "Write blog post" link. I can't access my home page anymore from the Blog's section.

Please fix?

Just to get a little bit more info first - can you please describe what you are doing / clicking and what happens? Are you going to the Blogs tab, clicking "My Blog Control Panel," and experiencing an issue there? Or is it something else or at a different step?

I've actually had to use a workaround myself a lot but have thought it was just a quirk due to a combination of some tinkering I once did on my own blog settings and my different admin permissions.

My last blog I attempted to write (the Netflix Review one), I did two things:

1. From blogs tab, tried clicking on "My blog home page" link, it would reload the Blog's tab page.
2. From blogs tab, tried clicking on the control panel one and it would claim there isn't any blogs to manage

 

So that lead me to clicking on one of my existing blogs and using the link on the right to write a new page... which of course would lead me to my control panel.

 

I've had this issue as well, but I had assumed it was just a staff-only side effect, what with being able to admin any blog on the site. SJ1 has passed on all details of the issue to our techies. Hopefully, we can have the issue identified and fixed soon. Thanks for the info, guys.
