2 Case Fans and 1 Power Supply on MB

I have a mb with one sys fan plug in.  My case has two fans.  How can I run both fans off of the one plug?

Its generally not a good idea as it can draw more current than the mobo was meant to put out.

I would put one on the mobo and butch the other connector and connect it to a molex connector.  Or, buy an adapter.

Fans are plugged directly to the Power supply's 4-pin molex, not the motherboard. The one on the motherboard is for SLI or Crossfire I believe..

All of the fans on my case (Cooler Master Mystique) are plugged into the 3-pin fan connectors on my mobo. Yes, some fans are powered by a molex connector, but any fans that are RPM controlled are either plugged into a fan controller or the mobo.

also which fan gets plugged in will affect how they show up in the bios

usually your main system fan (the socket you have) goes to the cpu cooler fan and will show up as cpu fan in the bios or any system spec software.
