    Firewire help:

Can anyone help me connect my video camera to the computer via firewire?

The mobo and camera both support it, but I can't seem to get them to communicate.

    The camera is Panasonic PV-GS19

    Re: Firewire help:

Sometimes after installing it, you will have to install the firewire drivers seperatly from the CD, did you do that?

    Re: Firewire help:

I think so. I'm not sure what I am missing. I installed all drivers that came with the mobo. No CD came with the video camera. My computer doesn't see the camera as a source.

    Re: Firewire help:

Looking at there web site it appears to be a USB interface, rather than Firewire. They don't even have a Firewire driver for it.
