What Browser do you use while on Eggxpert?

    What Browser do you use while on Eggxpert?

    I was running some metrics on the site that I thought were interesting and wanted to gather the data myself. Can you please let us know which browser you use while on the site. We realize that some of you use more that one browser but please let us know what is the main one that you use while on Eggxpert.

    Voting counts, i single-handledly made the pole a 50/50 split between IE and Firefox.

    Firefox, but only because Konqueror doesn't like the javascript required to login.

    I used opera for a while.  It works but its sometimes kinda quirky.

    Most of time, im using Maxthon, while other time, Firefox. But I can't tell which is better. I just get used to Maxthon. But there is a shortcoming about firefox. That is, i can't enbed Youtube vids with firefox.

    Try 9.5b.  No quirks.  Just look at the Changelog.  Pretty crazy.

    Mostly use the fox but some times IE.  Embedding Youtube videos works just fine for mei using the fox.

    Hey this topic had no poll the last time I made a smartie reply in it. Stick out tongue

    Not that it won't stop me now.  First I did click a result, Firefox, but wouldn't you get better results looking at the websites (www.eggxpert.com) stats?  I know the cp for most sites have stats available that show traffic and breakdown of the traffic which includes the breakdown of browsers visiting the site.  I would think that would be more accurate as a more limited result, such as the poll, can be easily skewed by a vocal group while the stats page would show you exactly what was used by visitors.

    I have looked at the websites stats and that was the reason I started the poll. The metrics that were drawn from those stats did not seem correct to me. I know this is very limited in the amount of users that have responded as of yet but I am hoping that more of our frequent users respond to the poll.

    I generally use Firefox to do virtually everything for plenty of reasons :-).

    Firefox! Yeah I use Firefox for everything, I only time I use IE is for updates... but since I'm using Vista now... I don't even need IE any more.

    90% Firefox with (Adblock plus and Noscript). but sometimes I need to use the IEView or IETab add-ons within FF to use a specific feature, Like embedding pics or getting URLs to show up as hypertext.

    It was a 75/25 split with IE and FF.

    I would bet that the numbers for all visitors here would end up in a IE edge over FF in the 65% vs 35% (or higher for IE) range as more non techie people do tend to use IE and the people that do regularly post here are more on the nerdy/geeky side than average Joe 6-pack.
