Upgraded to Q6600 Now Vista Hates me!

I had a E6600 in my rig with Vista Ultimate.  Woked great.  So today I popped in a Q6600.  Vista saw it, installed dirvers, and rebooted me.  99% of the system works fine.  What doesn't work in any kind of Windows Media.

I keep this error that says, "Digital Cable Device Registration Application Stopped Working".  Then I get an error saying something about Windows Media Player Networking Share Service has stopped working.  Then a Media Center App stops working.

I can't watch ANYTHING through Zune or WMP...Music and video works fine with iTunes.  All my 3d games work fine.  WMC does not work.

All I can think is that somehow Vista thinks I am cheating or something since the CPU has changed.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance as always

    M

This sounds like a DRM issue.  I've seen other people upgrade their processor with the same problem.  Either call Microsoft Support Services or reinstall.

    Good luck.
