TripKore: Like i play games and doing a lot of encoding and video editing which people say phenom is a lot quicker than the Q6600. But i could care less if intel's chip is 5% faster.
Not sure which people are saying the Phenom is faster than the Q6600 but, they would be far from correct.

The TechReport also did a review yesturday with the TLB patch that is susposed to correct the erratum that has been talked about with the Phenom's.
It absolutely kills Phenom performance.
This is more than enough to make the differences in the Q6600 and the Phenom's noticeable, regardless of if you are just looking at benchmarks or the screen experience.

AMD's great hope of producing a true "native" quad core has failed drastically. Phenom gets clobbered with an Intel processor that has already been out for almost a year.
