What stepping do the Q6600's have?

    What stepping do the Q6600's have?

    The page for the Q6600 doesn't say if the stepping is B3 or G0, does anyone know?

    The newegg Q6600s can be either. So it is pretty much role of the die if you get a G0 or B3. The only retailer i know that guarentees G0 is clubit.com.

    ClubIT sold out today, which is a shame, and they sell them cheaper than newegg. If the Egg would guarantee G0 then I would pay the extra $2-3 because I'm about to buy all my other components here and clubit sold out

    It seems that everyone who reviewed the OEM version on newegg got the G0 stepping. Is the only disadvantage to OEM processors that you don't get a colored box with it?

    Well check back every day at clubit once in the morning and once in the evening. Dont worry about the auto-notify feature as i just bought my Q6600 from them and they were sold out when i first went to buy it. I checked the auto-notify, and then looked back the next day and they had them in stock again. Point being, the auto-notfiy didnt notifty me until 2 days until after they had them in stock.
