So, I have been reading on several forums and everyone has a different answer. I think Newegg customers deserve to know who will and will not be receiving the 20% Paypal deal. I have read a lot of angry posts from people that purchased yesterday afternoon, but what about the people that made a purchase that morning? My invoice says the time of charge is 8:29 am, and I have no clue if I will be included. Newegg needs to step up and post some official details. They should also send emails to EVERY customer that purchased items through their store yesterday. I'm sure there are quite a few people that have no idea this deal was cancelled, and will be furious in January when they do not get paid. A refund or discount should be offered ASAP, my card is already charged.
As far as blame goes, I think both companies are to blame. The biggest problem seems to be the lack of communication between the companies and the service dept. I contacted newegg 3 times yesterday, and was given a new answer everytime. I'm tired of waiting on hold, so I figured this would be a good place to get official details. Nope. Even though a few employees have posted on this board, the posts have been non-descriptive and not overly helpful.
So Newegg, if you are listening, Please post some official details about this deal so we can clear up all this confusion.

UPDATE: Please read post# 3. According to the NewEgg rep, the deal officially ended at 12pm PST. So all of the early birds truly caught the worm on this one. As the promo said "Shop Now, Shop Fast!" It was pretty clear that this sale would end shortly. I don't blame New Egg for stopping the promo halfway through the day, I just wish that they did a better job informing when the deal had expired. A lot of folks purchased products after 12pm and were still given the promo details on the paypal billing screen. Hopefully this clears things up, now we will have to wait and see if Paypal fills its part of the bargain.
