Yep, this is a double post, because my orig. post in the sub-forum for Cyber Monday doesn't show or update to the top level view in the NewEgg deals (front page of forum, where it lists most recent posts in each forum)...

If you read the terms and conditions at PayPal itself, the deal seems to be good on any item. The NewEgg advertisement mentions specific items only. Does anyone know if the PayPal 20% cash back is good for any item (within the limits of $50 total back for any PayPal account)?? Thanks.

I'm actually kind of mad about this whole thing.  I ordered almost a grand worth of parts the day after thanksgiving, and then they give this deal out today... i think that's a bunch of c**p.  I wrote an inquiry to Newegg support, so we'll see what happens. 

let me know what happens.... I spent 1800 dollars and missed out on this :)

I only bought the 500GB hard drive during the friday sale for $109.99 but its now $10 cheaper. $10 doesn't seem like too much but the money could go to something else and save me money elsewhere. Is there any way for me to get the extra $10 or would I need to send the hard drive back and order a new hard drive today?

WIlling to bet you will have to send back and get new, but the cost of shipping both ways would be more... same as I got the thermaltake case and paid 120ish and now it was at 60ish....

Willing to bet newegg did that HD thing on purpose... put the most expensive out first so people think it wouldn't go down again. 

This PayPal situation has caused a ton of confusion and disappointment on the part of NewEgg customers.
