Ok, what about this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125065? I know it's only an 8500GT, but it's got 512 MB GDDR2 RAM, and 600 MHz core clock... isn't that better than the 8600s I listed? Or am I missing something?
What about this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121094? It's got 256 MB of RAM, but it's GDDR3. It also gets a lot better ratings.
Edit: After some browsing around, I need to ask the question, would I be better off with a 7600GT or a 8600GT? I'm on a budget, so of course the 7600 will be cheaper, which is a very big plus, and I've heard that unless you have an 8800, DirectX 9 is better than 10. They've got pretty much the same core clock speeds and amount of memory, so would the 7600 be a better buy for me? I'll probably end up with an 8800 in a few months, so it's really a matter of what to use for just a few months. Also, I probably won't be playing any games that would use Direct X 10 for at least a few months, and I should have an 8800 by then. What are your thoughts on all this?
