computer won't work 4 sticks ram

I have a Gigabyte motherboard GA-MA69G-S3H which supports up to 16 GB dual channel ram (ddr2 800) and has 4 slots. The problem is it will run any 3 out of the 4 sticks (2 sets of dual channel) G.Skill F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ ddr2 800 ram but not 4. I test each of these 1 GB sticks individually and in pairs at the preset 1.8v so I know they all work. With one dual channel 2GB kit in, every part of vista 64 bit runs well. With 4 sticks however, the computer will not even post unless I raise the voltage to 2.0v (the ram box suggests from 1.8-2.0v), but then white lines often occur at startup, shutdown, and windows messages, and there are problems with sound. I tried upping the voltage to 2.05 and even 2.1. What should I do, go even higher? Thanks.

P.S. If i do not find a solution in the next week i will sell one 2x1GB kit for 50 dollars (free shipping) so if interested email me at asareyan@sps.edu

My vote is for a bad memory slot.

Re: computer won't work 4 sticks ram

Try moving the 3 sticks around in different combinations, if the three sticks work in all combinations then maybe check for a BOIS update, but if they fail everytime when one is inserted into a certain slot, bad slot.
