    evga Mail-In Rebate

    Hey guys I just ordered some parts from Newegg, great experience by the way, as always. Anyways, I got an 8600 GT and it had a $15 mail-in rebate. I was filling out the form and all but it said to also attach the receipt, now I'm just wondering, what exactly is the receipt? The invoice email? The paper that comes inside the package? Sorry for the stupid question, but it's my first time doing this.

    You can print out an invoice from newegg.com it usually suffices.

    You also should have gotten a printed invoice inside the box I believe.. You can go make a photocopy at a library or something and then circle the item on the photocopy and send them the copy.. I wouldn't send them the original if you don't have a printer and can't make another..
    Onboard RAID vs. 3Ware RAID

    I never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.

    agreed, every time ive had to do a MIR with newegg, printing the sales invoice from the web has been enough
