    RMA policy confusing

I need to RMA a motherboard that was received DOA (would not POST). I simply want to replace/exchange the board with the same identical board. On the RMA request page I seen this remark "Newegg.com does not offer exchanges; we only refund or repair (replace)."

Yet where my board is listed on the page it says ""This item is still eligible for replacement."

So am I misconstruing the definition of exchange vs. replacement? Someone help me out here please.

Also, would it be quicker to just request a refund and then just order the same motherboard again? I have no problem waiting for the credit.

     Thanks....

    Re: RMA policy confusing

Exchange is defined as exchanging your board model, for say... another board from a different company. Repair/Replace is defined as a direct replacement with the exact model board.

And yes, it would probably be fastest to set up the RMA for a refund and order a new one. Though there are other options, just ask the a rep.
