I did a quick search for threads like this but didn't see any particular one that stood out.

It's simple, I will say a word/name/short phrase, and the next poster follows up with whatever word/name/short phrase comes to mind.

For example, if I say "peanut butter," the next poster might say "jelly" or "crackers" or "crunchy"

There's really no "guideline" to what should be said, just whatever you feel like.

And if this is a repost, just let me know and I'll go there to continue it.

This is the lamest thread ever. The joke is we pretend that this thread keeps drawing us back in by it's "black hole" like gravity or your posessed dog made you repost. What's even sadder is I've seen this exact title on other forums and stole the idea to bring here. That's it! I'm sorry. It's dumb...just ignore this thread.

OK, I "stole" this game from another forum.... It's sort of like the ignore thread....

Anyway, here's how it works. I would say: "The Next Poster has been outside of America."

The person who's replying replies either True, or False, depending on whether they've been outside America, or not.

Another shortcut is to say "TNP....."

I'm going to steal this thread from my friends at DV Forums as an homage.

Some folks like listening to music as they surf and post so let's see what everyone likes to listen to.

I am an old classic rocker and have no music newer than 1995 or so. I load up my media player with classics and let it rip.

Currently I am listening to "Roll Me Away" by Bob Seger....What are you listening to?

Ok... I hope that this thread doesn't make anyone feel too old around here... *cough*

but since this is the new year, and a lot has happened last year, and in history, this thread is about that... the good times, the bad times, the times that we all were not sure about...

In this light, this thread will hopefully follow the following format:

Response to the above remember when: (Could be an initial thought, what you were thinking during that time, what you were doing, or something/somehow that connects you to the event... if you have to, then plead the 5th.)

Then the next remember when: (I.E.: Remember when Nixon was impeached?)

So, there are no particular rules, except for to try to keep it within the past 200 years or so...

This could be an interesting thread if it goes on...

A man boards an airplane for a trip and as he sits down, he sees the man beside him has a black eye. This amuses him as he has a black eye also. They look at each other and laugh. The first man finally asks, "How did you get that shiner?" The second man replies, "Well, it was a tongue twister. I was at the counter buying my ticket this morning and the girl behind the counter had the most gorgeous boobs I have ever seen. I looked at her and meant to ask for a ticket to Pittsburgh, but I actually asked for a picket to Titsburgh. She got p****d off and smacked me one right in the eye."
