First I had Norton 2007 that came with my motherboard. Then I tried NOD32 freeware. I still have the worm and tried avast freeware to see if it would remove it and didnt. I have a friend that uses windows live one care and he says he couldnt download the war game because it stopped the download.I Got friends on newegg that play this game that havent said they had any problem with it! One doesnt use any antivirus at all and no problems. Some people say its Facebook and the games on it! Others say going to youtube that a trojan or worm is behind the MPEG, MOVI, files and music vidoes. I want some kind of security software that allows the game and (Stops) this LOL Trojan/Worm.I would be thankful of any kind of help deciding on a software security that isnt a hog on ram but will protect my computer! To find out if you have the Trojan/Worm wait till computer boots up and is done with everything then go into task manger open it up and it should say LOL!!!!!

Here is the wb search for it as well!! http://www.bing.com/search?q=lol.exe&src=IE-SearchBox&FORM=IE8SRC

But recently i had to re-install my OS because of a computer rebuild.. and as a result.. i had to start downloading all the every-day-use programs like winrar, quicktime, java, flash.. the usual.

Well, a few minuts ago my AVG scanner finished its scan.. and inside the Winrar folder and zip that i got from the officialy winrar website it found a file called "generic14.bnmi" That it flagged as a Trojan / Virus. Now.. ive never seen this file befor in any virus results and ive used Winrar befor on the previous install and ive never seen this reported.. and doing a google search for it came up practialy dry. Anyone know just what this is?.. AVG stuck it in its vault.. so its 'safely' tucked away. But im honestly currious as to just what this thing is.

WPA wi-fi cracked in under a minute

New attack cracks common Wi-Fi encryption in a minute

ComputerWorld
Aug. 29, 2009

Computer scientists in Japan say they've developed a way to break the
WPA encryption system used in wireless routers in about one minute.

The
attack gives hackers a way to read encrypted traffic sent between
computers and certain types of routers that use the WPA (Wi-Fi
Protected Access) encryption system. The attack was developed by
Toshihiro Ohigashi of Hiroshima University and Masakatu Morii of Kobe
University, who plan to discuss further details at a technical
conference set for Sept. 25 in Hiroshima.

Last November,
security researchers first showed how WPA could be broken, but the
Japanese researchers have taken the attack to a new level, according
to....

This is why I dropped TKIP+AES to just AES some time back. The switch is painless, just change to AES (may have to re-enter your password -- which is a extremely long random string of alphanumeric with symbols (ASCII) right?). Of course I am using "unaffected" WPA2--hopefully so is everyone else. But you have to wonder how long before....

[originally posted by me on HardwareGuys]
