Simple WiFi Streaming Radio Device

I'm looking for something simple and cheap that can play WiFi streaming radio through audio outs. This is to connect to existing small radios at various places in my house. I'm thinking sub-$50 and fairly portable.

Does anyone make such a thing?

Why won't Apples iPod play a WAVE file?

Four or five weeks ago I bought my very first iPod and then today I took it right back to the store to get my money back. The problem: the last couple of years I recorded a lot of conversational/dialogue oriented content with a really neat and very reliable Olympus digital voice recorder. So...I have a ton of WAVE files saved on my Dell desktop. I then went out and bought a 5th generation iPod Nano. I need to be able to listen to some of those WAVE files when I walk around town, so in order to accomplish that I did what the techs at Apple told me to do, I loaded them/transferred them over to iTunes. All of them went straight into iTunes and were switched over from a WAVE exe to an iTune exe. And the iPod would not play them! (Though it would play a song downloaded from iTunes.)

Furthermore, the techs at Apple were stumped. None of them, not even their supervisors, had a ready instant fix for this issue. They all dealt me the GEE WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET A WAVE FILE TO PLAY ON THE IPOD NANO SINCE WE'VE NEVER HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM BEFORE card. They all acted like they were brainless. Seems to me a problem of this sort is one they see many times a week (people just like me who bought their first iPod who now want to be able to listen to WAVE files - WAVE files that contain important conversations or important dialogue). Anyone have a fix for this? I can always go out and buy another iPod. Is there something at download.com that would make a WAVE file playable on an iPod???

my son wants a video mp3 for christmas but all the mp3,s with big hard drives are way too expensive. is there a type of mp3 that is cheap, but allows for upgradeable storage, a la an sd card?

Hi..

I bought this player last week. I loaded it with some mp3 songs, put the battery in, and turned it on. All it does is display "mp3player", and nothing else.

It won't even switch off. I have to remove the battery to shut it down. After that, it doesn't even get detected (as a USB device) by both Windows and Linux. Anything I can do to fix it before returning it?

this is my first time getting a GPS, well not for me to use tho, its for my dad and i dont know nothing about them, only they make routes to drive from point A to B.

i saw someone that has GPS and was talking in chinese, but i dont know which brand has chinese language, since my dad dont know english, only chinese and little spanish and most talks in english so..... any cheap and good GPS that talks in english that u guys could recommend me? thanks.

To listen to music you simply put both earbuds in, and your music starts automatically. To pause, take out one earbud; removing both stops the music entirely. To answer the phone, do the same thing. If you're listening to music when a call comes in, you have to remove both earphones to stop the music, and then put one back in to answer a call.

Sony Ericsson says the MH907 headphones are activated by body contact, so you can't accidentally answer a phone or start your music when the headphones are in your pocket or purse.

need help buying gps...

im looking into buying a gps to replace the VZ navigator (verizon's phone gps). first off i was wondering if buying a gps is a one time shot or would i have to pay periodically for map updates? second if we have to pay for updates would it be cheaper than paying $50 a month to have navigator on 2 phones? third... i hav no idea on gps feature sets so i dont kno what i want in it... thanks for the help in advance.

problems with MP3 player

I have a Sansa Fuze MP3/MP4 player, 8 GB with a expandable slot for more memory. I have had it for about 2 to 3 weeks and it was player just fine then all of a sudden it just up and quit. The light around the wheel stayed on but then it wouldn't do nothing else. It wouldn't charge, it wouldn't recognize it when I would plug it in on the computer. Then all of a sudden it went off and then I could play it until the battery went completely dead. Then, It wouldn't do nothing again, then, all of a sudden it would show it is charging and it would recognize it on the computer then as well. Does anybody have any idea what could have happened.
