right now im most in need of a new hard drive to backup my two 250gb drives on a single backup drive and an LCD monitor that is 22" so that I can toss my old CRT away

I would have to say definitely CPU's and VGA's are the things most people are interested in knowing about the next generation of parts.

I th ink its the harddrive, both memory and cpu does not outruns its potentials because either harddrive is too slow. This is usually the case. However, mobo can't do much dmage if its casual and so on. However, cpu couldn't outrun itself due to memory slowness. Intel beats AMD in that sense. So, Harddrive should be made beter and more stable. Seagate sucks. 32mb cache 500gb hdd 7200.11 . This is not good. Its very noisy.
Thus, I conclude Harddrive is the most important part in a computer because it lacks the most compared to the other compoments.

That's weird...I got CPU, then MB, then VGA as first choices. So you think VGA is better than CPU? nVidia makes VGA'a right?

Good power supplies are very hard to find and I'd sure like a heads up if we hear of a new company making solid, single-rail, non-modular, high-amperage power supplies besides PC P&C.
Sadly it's an underrated subject because no one gets more FPS with a better PSU, though it does make the difference between getting 0 and 1 FPS.

haha, I hear you on that one MrMonroe. I'm sure you know this, but Corsair definitely makes good PSUs with those same ideas in mind. I also would vote for this.

pro, i was making funny. i like the saying .... don't sweat the small stuff..i was in life or death situations years ago,that was important now i look at life as a great gift to be enjoyed.
