I am excited about graphic card, but I am more interesting at the Intel's Nahalem cpu. Want to see is it really going to be the time when Intel cpu able to catch up with AMD's cpu in term of memory bandwidth and of course the 8 cores special architecture also sounds promising.

I like the following companys in no specific order

1) Intel (best cpu's out atm)

2) ATI (decent frame rates, high quality pictures compaired to nVidia)

3) G.Skill (good ram)

4) OCZ (good power supplys)

5) Asus (very feature rich motherboards but usually overpriced, bad rma service)

6) Gigabyte (good motherboards for a great price, usually good overclockers, with good layout but not as feature rich as Asus)

7) Abit

8) nVidia (the generic video card manufacturer, high FPS, not as good picture quality as ATI, a million models to choose from)

Creative Labs; I agree with all the biggies listed here but Creative is the one company that I love to hate!

Vista brought a lot of changes to audio on a PC and Creative, being the major audio mfg, had the opportunity to "hit the ball outa the park" but they failed miserably, imho! So I'd like to see what magic is coming from Creative to pull them from the ashes. Their Vista drivers are terrible, their support is one of the worst in the industry yet they are presumably the best in the audio world. What gives?

I would have chosen two, Abit and Amd. I use their products more than any. NewEgg has dropped the ball and is late on getting the new Abit AX78 board for sale. Other retailers have this already selling. I have never had trouble with any ATI or AMD products. I like to keep up with both companies on their new products.

I now own a Gateway NMZ50se. Am computer newbie, but have over 20 years experience machining & assembling high-perf marine engines. Will gladly trade my advice for yours

I have to agree with Penewah on the Gigabyte mobos but I'd also like to see more on Corsair PSUs and RAM.

i really like ASUS too even know there customer support isn't the greatest ive never had to use it because the mobo's performed so well....and i especially like the high end enthusiast boards with the vast overclocking features and a plethera of other options....i would love some more news about them

I would definitely like to see what Nvidia has going as well as AMD processor developments (tri-core/new stepping quad-cores/SB700 chipset/etc...) and ATI's graphic line (perhaps a 3870x2 with 2GB memory, 1Gb bus, higher clock speeds, unified shaders <-- HINT HINT :-))

I like knowing often about any possible inside info from many companies although motherboard manufacturers do not interest me all that much because Motherboards are quite similar with distinct quality/design. But Video cards are so intriguing as well as processors so keeping up on that is fun as well as memory sometimes.

Personal note: I think this type of event should be regular like monthly or weekly with new information from a new company each time. That would show true love to the community :-).

Seems like the most popular choice is nVidia. Followed by ATI, AMD, and Intel. We will start with Nvidia first. We will see if we can get a rep to speak on Hybrid SLI Technology. Anything else anyone would want to know from them? We will try and see if we can get some of the newest info on their upcoming products.

i'd have to say if i had to choose just one it'd be nvidia right now, looking forward to seeing their response to ati's 3870x2
