Yep. This is Steven, from Calgary, AB. I won the $1000. Only managed to get the forms in last week, so I haven't gotten word back yet. Took a while, because I had to get them notarized.

As for what I'll do with it, I'm either going to upgrade my current comp by getting a second BFG GTX 280, a printer and 4 more gigs of RAM, or I'll use it as $1000 off a this laptop:

Good Afternoon EggXperts,

I can confirm that the prize winners have been selected and notified. All prizes haven't necessarily been disbursed yet, as winning a prize such as this naturally involves a fair amount of paperwork, affidavits, NDAs, fingerprinting, background checks, blood tests, notification of next of kin, DNA sampling, etc. etc...

OK I'm joking about most of that, but for those who are interested, here's the first names and cities of residence of the big prize winners!
