are they planning on releasing notebook video card drivers on their site any time?

For instance I've got an 8600m GT card, just they don't release drivers for it. I have to find third party new ones which I'm really not comfortable in doing...

They might not answer every question only a few. I am sure that the Admins did send all the questions. But remember they (Nvidia) have right to pick and choose which ones. So needless to say you will know when every one else does.

I'm poking my head in to reaffirm nVIDIA addressing 64 bit - ALL OUT. IMHO if Microsoft wants VISTA to pull us out of the XP era then hit Warp 9 on 64bit with nVIDIA ready and waiting.

I can see some aspects of raytracing coming handy like reflection/refraction and mixing that in with rasterized graphics.

Definantly an awesome question petrocket...

When will ray tracing become the basis of rendering graphics in games? When will GPU's become powerful enough for ray tracing to be practical and fully functional in a game (At least as playable as a game using rasterization as the rendering method)? When will it become a mainstream basis for graphics engines?

According to NVIDIA, full screen video mirroring "is no longer supported due to the new Protected Video Path Output Content Protection (PVP-OPM) in Windows Vista." Although you can perform with a little know how with ATI in Vista... it's called theater mode, so it is possible with vista. My question is, why has NVIDIA given up on its full screen video mirror feature and is there any plans for NVIDIA to bring it back and if so, does that involve scrapping and rebuilding their drivers? Customer satisfaction can make or break a company. Bottom line is NVIDIA willing to satisfy their customers.

Is there any chance nvidia would work with ATI to establish a standard for multiple video cards on a system? I realize there are proprietary technologies involved, however, as a consumer, it obviously locks you into half of the video card market. While it is an enthusiast item, Somehow I can't imagine if SLI were licensed to Intel it would not come up with a multiple video card standard that would end up being licensed by everyone. )Not that you intend to do that anyway). Perhaps a set of standards could be delegated to a third party organization in the place of the fights over markets and proprietary technologies? I simply feel like these two competing proprietary technologies are going to end up stifling the market, or worse causing a crash.
