Problem is every one I have tried, and there have been multiples, only picks up the analog side of the card. This makes it impossible to play any video since broadcast are done in digital. Is there an active x for vb6 out there that will pick up digital or some type of work around to make it work? Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Volunteering for KDE Development

If anybody with some C++ background is interested in working on KDE apps and is completely lost as to where to begin, let me know (send me a PM) and I can steer you in the right direction on how to get started with whatever it is that you want to work on...

There's TONS of stuff that needs to be done for KDE and you certainly don't need to be running Linux to contribute since KDE apps runs under Linux, Mac OS X and Windows You can compile KDE apps under all these platforms.

The KDE project is a non-profit organization, so time spent helping KDE can be considered "volunteering" for a non-profit and it looks good on a resume..

There's a lot of exciting new things going on for KDE right now..

The first release of Plasma Active just launched, there's lots of talk about how KDE will be using the new C++0x standard, KDE for Windows and Mac OS X are under heavy beta testing (ironing out platform-specific bugs), KDEnlive has become one of the best (IMO, the best) open source video editors in the world, and the release of KDE5 is coming up fast..

I'm currently helping out in debugging Amarok under Windows.. It has soooo much potential to be better than iTunes and in a lot of ways it already is (It automatically fetches lyrics, artist information, album information, etc.from wiki pages and displays it for every song you play!).

Let me know (send me a PM or post below) if you want to help and you're lost or you want to help and you don't have a clue where to begin.

.Edit: I should probably point out that if you're using Windows you can use the mingw compiler (free download) or Visual Studio Express (free download).. So there are a lot of options without forking over big bucks for an IDE under Windows. I believe you can also use Eclipse with mingw if you want, under any platform.
