Virus Help

Can't get rid of a virus.

This happens about every five minutes, and started a few hours ago.

I receive a notice from AVG that a potential trojan horse is on my computer. I'll tell it to delete the infected material, and it will do so, and give me a confirmation that there is no more risky files on my computer.

Then, about five minutes later, I'll get the SAME message, and I'll do the SAME thing! Why does it keep coming back?

windows repair/ safe mode conflict

I recently got one of the nastiest viruses I've ever seen. I'm running Kaspersky in the mode so that it automatically handles all threats after I ran it on a training mode for several months. The virus somehow embedded itself on the explorer.exe for windows. My AV automatically quarantined windows. Doesn't seem like that should be possible, partially because I was using a guest account. After this happened, my wallpaper still showed up, but I had no windows except task manager. I managed to perform a full system scan to no avail and unquarantined explorer.exe. After reboot, I got the blue screen of death. I tried running the repair console on my OS disk, which seemed to work just fine until I reboot. Everytime I boot, it's in normal mode. After the repair console restarts the system, It's in safe mode. FYI, the repair console can't make changes in safe mode.

I have a spare 40gb drive that is a couple years old, I'm thinking it'd prolly be easier to recover my documents to it on another computer ,format, and start over. Although I'd prefer to recover, less hassle.

If anyone has any suggestions or advice, it would be much appreciated.

MBAM database stolen by IOBit

Malwarebytes has recently uncovered evidence that a company called IOBit based in China is stealing and incorporating our proprietary database and intellectual property into their software. We know this will sound hard to believe, because it was hard for us to believe at first too. But after an indepth investigation, we became convinced it was true.

Kaspersky Anti Virus 2010

So i download the free trial and after a couple of weeks using it, it says i have 74 threats detected, but there all riskware. So my question is should i be worried? and how do i get rid of them since im new to kaspersky.

P.s. i also bought Kaspersky but im still using the trial

Generic PUP x...is this harmful?

McAfee found this...Location:C:\System Volume Information\_restore(20E56ADE-4CF2-4D77-83DB-1C673D2E77E2)\RP848\A0107895.dll I think I copied that right. Is this something harmful? Will removing it mess something else up? Thanks

Hello, Need help with a Compaq

Im helping a friend out by fixing his computer but its gone alittle to far. it had a extreme virus that took over the whole system files. Now when i start the computer up all i see is the compaq screen then a black screen and never loads. Before it said i was missing a system file. He doesnt have windows xp cd. I been trying to load a illegal version to test it out but it doesn't work either. If i take out all memory it doesn't turn on at all. I don't know what it is anymore. Any help.I been thinking of loading my computer hard drive on it but doesn't seem to work.

Any suggestions. He has no money for an upgrade i mean serioiusly im dealing with a old cpu.... anyways help is appericiated.

Recently after a DL my comp has not been allowing me to access my online bank account or my emails. Every time I go to log into em them there is a security error or i get to log in only for it to freeze. She runs great aside me being unable to log into anything. I've tried Windows Live One Care and AVG complete scans they found a couple things but I still can't login. I think its a Trojan and I was wondering if there is any hope of removing it if so where to turn??? thanks for any and all replies guys.
