Bumping this up. I added a HDD and I have a question about the tower and the PSU. I noticed that the PSU pumps air up. Would this not be compatible with the current Fractal Design Core tower I have selected? Would a PSU that blows outwards be better for the tower?

depends on how much you are willing to spend if you are set on that ssd then get it or

for 15 more dollars you could get this samsung ssd which will give you faster write speed by about two times what the crucial does

when you go to save as it will show both the hdd and the ssd you would just select the hdd

you can use this hdd that TheSlakey recommended HDD

the ssd dpending on what you want to use it for just as a boot drive or if you want to put some games and stuff on it as well

there is this intel 80gb one SSD that could mainly hold the os and a couple games

or there is this intel 120gb SSD that can hold the os and a little bit more games

How would I separate those when saving documents?

Yes if you do that the ssd will hold the os the hdd will hold the rest of the information you want to hold i.e. programs word document etc..

Having the os on an ssd makes the computer boot faster or other programs you have on it like a game

So if I do purchase a 7200 rpm HDD, I wouldn't have to buy a SSD?

get the WD caviar blue 500gb 7200 rp, should run you about $89.99, instead of buying a ssd, invest that money into a better graphics card because your going to need a better one if your gonna play bf3, skyrim, etc
