You are wasting your cash at that that resolution with two cards

One card is more than enough and adding a second is overkill... if you were spanning monitors and at a higher resolution then yes it would be more logical.

Second what products recommend and it comes down to the games and resolution that you are running at.

i5-2500k overclocked on a Z68 (or P67) motherboard. DDR3 1600 memory at 1.5V.
