Determining type of RAM for Acer TavelMate

I'm trying to determine what kind of RAM is compatible with the Acer TMP453-M-33114G32Mtkk. The Memory Finder does not have this model listed and Google Searches turn up nothing relevant.

After some research, I have decided to build myself a gaming rig. This will be my first ever build and I am looking for some advice and wanting to make sure everything is compatible. Let's get started!

What I am unsure of now would be the motherboard, power supply and RAM. I was wanting 12GB-16GB worth, but would be fine with 8GB to get everything up and going. Am I missing anything else? Well as you have read I have tried my best to design a suitable PC for me. As I am not well experienced with picking and selecting parts, I am trusting you will take the time to see if any problem(s) are in my design. I am planning to upgrade the computer later, just looking for something to get me off of my old Emachine. I hope the PSU is correct,more than likely not, as the thing as I always read is "Don’t skimp off on the power supply", so I’ve tried not to but I am not sure.

If any commons easily found problem are noted, sorry give a first time builder a break. I would prefer not to overclock as much as possible, just preference). Advice on video card(s) to drive 5 to 8 *2560x1440

Greetings eggxperts, and thanks in advance for any advice you can give!

I am not a gamer, and don't care about 3D rendering and all that. I'm a stock market guy and care about serious screen real estate.

I want to build a system to initially drive (5) Dell U2713HM DisplayPort monitors, all running at 2560x1440 resolution in "5x1 Portrait" configuration. What's more, I want to be able to expand the system in future to (8) of these 2560x1440 monitors, to create a 30 megapixel desktop. Seriously.

I'm having trouble figuring out what video cards to use because everything high-end is focused on gamers and I really don't share their requirements. My screens have only occasional video in the form of YouTube clips of talking heads on CNBC. No games. But I definitely care a LOT about a good solid, flicker-free experience at FULL resolution.

The 6 Mini-DP cards such as VisionTek's 900548 HD7870 don't list supported RESOLUTION for those 6 Mini-DP outputs on their spec sheets, which makes me skeptical as hell. Just ONE of these cards would support my intended initial configuration of (5) 2560x1440 monitors, IF they can run at that res. But I wonder if a smarter move would be (2) cards that each support 4 DP outputs, since frankly I'm skeptical about one card really being able to drive 5 or 6 2560x1440 monitors at the same time without performance issues.

My other problem is case selection. The Asus P9X79WS mobo I've tentatively chosen is described as "SSI CEB" form factor, but the cases I'm considering such as the Antec P280 all seem to use a different nomenclature of "ATX, Mini-ATX, and ITX" form factors. I can't figure out how to tell what case(s) are compatible with the mobo.

My public wishlist is "xPat Build1", and shows the parts I think I want to use together. But like I say, I can't figure out if this card will really drive 5 2560x1440 displays, and I can't figure out whether the mobo fits in this case. Any advice much appreciated!!!! :-)

I got a WoW buddy to help me put it together, just wanted some second opinions. for what i'd be doing, Gaming, movies. random small stuff.

I'd like to be able to play WoW on the ultra settings. probably more games down the road. CoD, Skyrim, EVE online has interested me to. just can't play any of that on my current pc. (wow with minimal settings)

Getting ready to buy a bunch of parts, wanted to check with some knowledgeable people about compatibility. I didn't randomly pick parts and I believe everything will work, just wanted to check with others.

Also I wanted recommendations for circuit breakers and surge protectors. My current breakers for the outlet I use can't run much more than my 42", 300w pc, modem, and a light or it trips, it's an old 120v 15A breaker. I would assume it wouldn't work great with my new pc so should I get a new 120v 20A breaker? Also I would like a surge protector with 6-12 outlets that will protect my pc. Help with the breaker/surge protector isn't required if you have no recommendation though.

EDIT: This is a revamp of the previously linked build. I've taken into consideration the incompatible motherboard/CPU combo, as well as finding a more reliable power source. I've also swapped the motherboard for another similar AM3+ board with high reviews. (I strongly rely on reviews). Please let me know your opinions/ideas, I'm always open to constructive ideas and criticism,

I was just wondering a few things:

My friend recommended that I have the ability to upgrade to a second graphics card if need be. He also suggested the PSU that is included, but 750W seems a little excessive. However, I don't completely understand whats good and whats not in terms of power. Besides, I feel I would rather have too much than too little.

Does everything fit correctly in this case and is everything compatible are my bigger concerns.

I am planning on purchasing a main monitor for around $150 or lower. I plan to use it as my main and would like it to be around 22" or 23." I have a 22" monitor that I will be using an hdmi to connect. I also want to make sure that I have a computer that can handle this setup.

I do want to keep the price about the same and, if at all possible, lower the price. :D

Alright, so recently I have started my first build. I will be using it for common use and also some gaming on the side. I've already gotten some help from members on another forums but I thought the more help the better, right? I still have one question I need confirmation with. Hi, I am completely new to computer building and want to learn. I have been spending a bunch of time on the internet reading and watching videos about various parts but I am having trouble picking out parts because I lack experience. I want to build a gaming computer in the range of $900-$1000 budget. The thing I am really unsure about is the motherboard. I am super paranoid that I will pick parts that are not compatible and/or I will pick a motherboard that does not have the correct plugs or just... I'm so lost. Can I have a little assistance, a "nudge out of the door". All help is very much appreciated.

The Short Version

- Create a Wish List and set it to Public.
- Get your Wish List ID (it's the last 8 digits of your wish list URL).
- Replace the XXXXXXXX in this link with your wish list ID:

Detailed Version

Step 1:
Add the items to a temporary wishlist by clicking the "Add to Wishlist" button directly below the "Average Rating" eggs.

Step 2:
Click "Login to save this temporary wish list or to view/modify your saved wish lists" and enter your Newegg account information.
(note: may differ from your Eggxpert account info)

Step 3:
Select the items you wish to add to the wishlist, and enter a name for the wish list under "Save selected items to a NEW wish list".buc
(I used "1337 Combo" for the name) -- Then click the "Create New" button.

Step 4:
Click the "My saved wish lists" tab.

Step 5:
Select the wish list you want to share from the list and click the button labeled "Share".

Step 6:
Click the wish list name you just enabled sharing for.
(It will have a check under the "Shared" Column.)

Step 7:
In your URL bar, copy the last eight digits.
(This is the Wish List ID.)

Step 8:
